We Are To Be The Church

Daily Faith is here to encourage your faith walk with the Lord. We believe that there is nothing more powerful than a seed of faith. Pastor Jeff Noble, our guest, would like to talk to you about discipleship and what it means to be the church. He is the pastor of Northstar Church in Blacksburg, VA. The Lord called him into ministry many years ago and has given him a heart of compassion to help the lost reach Jesus through discipleship. As the body of Christ, we are to show others the love of Jesus, not only through our words but through our actions. We’re here to help one another by lifting their needs before the Lord in prayer, supporting, mentoring, and discipleship. All of this starts with a relationship with Jesus Christ. Developing a heart of intimacy with the Lord is vital for our daily faith walk. There are four fundamental principles that Pastor Jeff would like to discuss with you today. As you go about your daily walk with Jesus, we pray that you will open your heart to hear what He is telling you and that you will respond in obedience to His call. There might be someone God is sending your way that needs your help. For more information about Northstar Church with Pastor Jeff Noble, please visit www.northstarfamily.org.

For over 30 years, we have had a ministry in Moldova, in Eastern Europe. Moldova is one of the most poverty-stricken countries in Eastern Europe and has the highest death rate tied to alcohol abuse. Most of the children in the villages are kicked out of their homes by their parents or loved ones, and they’re told that no one will ever love them and are often sent to an orphanage. They’re left to grow up without the love of a family and are stuck with feelings of abandonment. The Orphans Hands ministry is the heart of what we do. We have a village of homes called Vatra Village, and we help to rescue these broken and orphaned children from a life of sorrow and abuse and the perils of human trafficking. Upon coming into our homes, they experience the love of a Father and discover how God saved them. They have been discipled in Christ’s love becoming sons and daughters for Him. Their hearts have grown in the love of Jesus, and they are excited to share what they have learned with those who hurt them. We want to show you a glimpse of what your continued prayers and support help do in the lives of these children. Thank you. Walking in Humility

On Daily Faith today, we have an encouraging word from the Lord for you. Pastor Phil Stephens as our guest. He is the lead pastor of Southside Church AG in Lakeland, Fl. He has had the privilege of leading his church for the past 16 years, and during that time, he has seen the Lord do great and mighty things for them. During this pandemic, the Lord spoke to Him. He gave him a word of encouragement to share with all of us. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says,If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” This verse has carried him and his church through these difficult times, reminding them of the importance of developing a personal relationship with the Lord, listening, and getting to know His heart. This verse also comes with a condition for all of us, that if we set time aside from our busy schedules to seek the Lord with hearts of humility, He would hear from heaven and heal our land. Not only does this apply to the church, but it’s also for our daily walk with the Lord. What battles are raging around you? What is the Lord trying to speak to you, but we’re too busy to stop and listen? We are living in perilous times in America and around the world. It’s time, now more than ever before, for the body of Christ to stand firm in our beliefs against the powers of darkness. You are not meant to fight in this battle, be still and listen to what God is saying. Victory is yours! The Orphans Hands is our mission work in Moldova, Eastern Europe, where we have a village of homes called Vatra Village. Moldova is one of the most impoverished countries in the world, caused by drug and alcohol abuse. Most of these children are sent to an orphanage when they are young or kicked out onto the streets, never knowing the love of a family. We help by rescuing these children from the hells of human trafficking by taking them in, telling them if they are born, God has a plan for their lives. In this newfound freedom, with hearts of humility from the Lord, they have an unstoppable desire to return to those fears they understand by sharing the love of Jesus with those who caused them pain. We want to show you a video of what your love and support helps to do in the lives of these once broken children. For more information about The Orphans Hands, please visit www.theorphanshands.org

Step into God’s Grace

Grace is one of the most misunderstood words in the Bible. On Daily Faith, we are talking with Pastor Ben Dailey about God’s Grace and his journey of how he came to understand what that means for his life. He has written a new book entitled, Captured By Grace: Be Freed From Fear So You Can Really Live! Pastor Dailey speaks of performance-based religion he was in bondage to and how service after service, he was still trying to achieve something that God freely gave him. Grace is God’s unmerited favor for us. It’s not something to be earned like a trophy. God gives us grace freely, and He is offering this to us today. The Word of God says that Jesus paid for all of those feelings of sin: guilt, shame, fear, depression, worry, and anxiety, on the Cross when He died for you. Pastor Dailey wants to help you discover that the battle is within your mind, and Christ Jesus has already won the war. You are free to walk in liberty in who God has created you to be! Today, take the step of faith out of the jungles of fear that the enemy has you surrounded by and walk in God’s unmerited favor in your life today! We want to encourage your faith and for you to know that God loves you! The Orphans Hands is our ministry of homes in Eastern Europe. These homes are filled with abandoned and orphaned children, kids who have been kicked out onto the streets because of drug and alcohol abuse, leaving them subject to human trafficking. We help to rescue these children by bringing them into our homes and showing them the love of Jesus. They learn of God’s grace and how it set them free from the pains of this world by giving His life. They become sons and daughters of Christ, who turn into missionaries; giving back to the ones who hurt them. Recently, Philip, who they call Dad, had a birthday and they would like to share their birthday greetings with you. Thank you for your continued support and prayers for The Orphans Hands. When We All Come Together

On Daily Faith, Pastor Mark Yoder is our guest. He is the senior pastor of Christ Community Church in Sumter, NC. Pastor Mark has been in the ministry for over 20 years and has experienced firsthand how our Heavenly Father supports us, His children. Pastor Mark has three sons of his own that have all stepped out in youth ministry, student teaching. It was hard to try to pick one son to support, but Pastor Mark was able to see how our Heavenly Father doesn’t want to choose only one child to help; He is there for every one of His children. When we come together in unity, supporting one another in Christ’s love, we act as the body of Christ. Today, many churches are concerned with numbers, finance, and attendance and begin to compete with who has the better church. That is not the primary goal. We are all in this Kingdom race together, reaching out and sharing what Jesus’ sacrifice paid for on the Cross, our eternal salvation. We are Christ’s hands extended. Instead of competing with your fellow neighbor, stand up and support one another in godly love. When we reach out beyond where we are to help those in need, we will see the hand of God moving in our midst. Be blessed and encourage one another in Christ’s love today. For more information about Mark Yoder’s church, Christ Community Church, see www.cccsumter.com.

We want you to know that God has something for you today. Sometimes we get stuck and consumed in the tiny world we live in, and it can be hard to see past our circumstances. It’s when we can step out of our comfort zone and bless someone else’s life beyond our reach that we not only make a difference in their world; it affects ours as well. Today, we want to be your faith partner. Someone who stands beside you encourages you and helps you take the next step of faith in your walk with God. God wants to reach into your world and provide everything that you need. It just takes a willing heart and a courageous step of faith! He is a lamp unto your feet today. Reach out.

The Orphans Hands is our ministry of homes in Eastern Europe, Moldova, with a home in Ukraine. Moldova is one of the poorest countries in the world. Many people die from drug and alcohol abuse. Children are often kicked out into the streets, leaving them at the risk of human trafficking. For over 30 years, we’ve helped reach these lost and broken children for Jesus Christ. Our kids now minister by giving back to those who hurt them, being God’s hands extended. It’s a beautiful picture of unity in the body of Christ.
