God’s Grace is Bigger Than Our Failures

On Daily Faith, we welcome back Pastor Keith Nix. He is the Lead Pastor of The Lift Church in Sevierville, TN. Pastor Keith would like to share a remarkable true story with you, and he has published a book about it called “Larry Nix: From the Torments of Hell to the Glories of Heaven.” It’s a true-life story based on God’s redemption and grace in a young boy’s life and how God’s mercy is available for all who believe. Pastor Keith’s late father, Larry Nix, grew up in the 1950s in a poor family. He never knew his biological father, and his stepfather was a drunk. Larry Nix was abused and neglected at a young age, leaving him physically and emotionally starving for attention. His heart was full of anger and hatred from the events during his childhood, and he wanted revenge. Pastor Keith explains how the Lord brought this young boy through the deepest valleys of hell to the highest mountain top of God’s love. God transformed his heart from a heart of stone to a heart of flesh. If you find yourself going through a rough season and you seem to be stuck in the valleys of life today, we want you to know that there is a God who is real, and He loves you with a violent, jealous love! No matter what you have done, God’s grace is bigger than your failures, and it’s a free gift He is offering you. God will never leave you nor forsake you. God is a friend that sticks closer to you than a brother, and He knows your name. Call on His name today. Moldova has the highest death rates leading to alcohol consumption, forcing many young children out of their homes to grow up in an orphanage. In the orphanages, the kids are told that no one will ever love them, and they will never amount to anything in life. We help save these abandoned and hopeless children from a life of tragedy and the risks of human trafficking by bringing them into our homes and providing for their needs. The Orphans Hands ministry is the heart of our outreach, and we have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village and a house in Ukraine. God has radically transformed their lives from pain and loss to hope and joy. They are growing their relationships through the Father’s love and daily experience of His mercy and grace. We are about to welcome 15 more children into our newest home, Betzer House. These kids have never known the love of a family. We want to thank you for your generosity and prayers by showing you a video of how you have helped to write another redemption story. Thank you. Take Your Stand in Faith

On Daith Faith, Pastor Derek Draughon is back with us to share insights on the power God has given us as Christians over the spirit of fear. He is the Lead Pastor at Saraland First in Saraland, AL, and he is the host of Fuel Cast, a show dedicated to inspire, encourage, and strengthen your inner man. Pastor Derek discusses the importance of grasping the power God has given to us through His word and using it against the enemy’s attacks. Every day, we face situations that attempt to hinder our walk with the Lord that can keep us in a state of confusion. The devil tries hard to blind you and keep you in the lowest and darkest places of despair in your situation. He promotes feelings contrary to the word of God. This same ploy causes us to shrink back, keeping us from standing in our God-given faith. Peter describes to Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:17, “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” Philip and Pastor Derek want to support and encourage your faith today, giving you a word that inspires you to hold onto God’s promises for your life and trust in His faithfulness. Don’t sit and curse the darkness; take back your day by standing in faith and walking in God’s power, love, and sound mind for your life. For over thirty years, we have been working in a small, impoverished country in Eastern Europe to help rescue orphaned children, giving them a safe place to call home. Moldova has the highest death rates leading to alcohol consumption, forcing many young children out of their homes into an orphanage. In the orphanages, the kids are told that no one will ever love them, and they will never amount to anything in life. Those hopeless words leave these kids with feelings of fear and rejection. When they become of age, they’re forced out of the orphanages with no place to live or food to eat. The Orphans Hands ministry has been a turning point for these young kids and saves them from the risks of human trafficking. We have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village and a house in Ukraine. Upon coming into their new homes, they learn to let go of the fears from the past, allowing them to walk in true freedom by the Holy Spirit. The power of God has forever changed their lives, and it enables them to reach out by faith and help others that they were once like. They have a video to share of what your generous support and prayers have helped them accomplish. Thank you! To learn more about The Orphans Hands ministry, please visit www.theorphanshands.org

Focus on the Covenant

On Daily Faith, Philip’s best friend and pastor, Pastor Tony McAfee, joins us today. Pastor McAfee is the lead pastor of Covenant Life Church in Clinton, TN. Recently, the Lord gave him a powerful revelation on the importance of Communion within the body of Christ and how it has been minimized within the church. Communion is an oath unto God. It’s a symbol of our dedication in remembrance of what Jesus did on the Cross. It reaffirms our faith in Jesus, and it’s not intended to be taken lightly. Everything is relational with our heavenly Father. Communion is more than having fellowship; it’s an intimate partnership with Him through Jesus Christ. Having that foundation is a vital step in our Christian walk. Pastor McAfee expounds on how Communion brings union with Jesus and our relationships with each other and how it keeps us humble before God. The blood of Jesus covers everything we could ever do, enabling us to live and proclaim His Good News to the world. Today, our prayer is that you will turn your heart to the Lord in humble adoration and focus on the covenant, your partnership made with Jesus. There is power in His blood, and it is covering you. Moldova is one of the poorest countries in Eastern Europe. They have the highest death rate, per population, due to alcoholism. This devastation breaks up the home and sends many children to grow up in an orphanage. These kids are left alone with a sense of hopelessness and rejection. In the orphanage, they are told they’ll never amount to anything in life. When they turn sixteen, they are sent back to those who abandoned them or left on the streets, subject to the risks of human trafficking. The Orphans Hands is the heart and soul of our outreach ministry. We have a village of homes in Moldova called Vatra Village and a house in Ukraine. We help rescue these unwanted and forgotten children by taking them in and giving them a place to call home. They become sons and daughters, turning into missionaries. Through faith in Christ, they’re establishing a covenant relationship with God on a foundation of His truths. They acknowledge and remember the price Jesus paid for their sins by regularly taking communion. We’re currently opening another home named The Betzer House for more children to discover their identity in Christ. Through Jesus, it’s because of your love and support that enables us to be God’s hands extended. Thank you! To learn more about The Orphans Hands ministry, please visit www.theorphanshands.org
