On Daily Faith, Pastor Mark Yoder is our guest. He is the senior pastor of Christ Community Church in Sumter, NC. Pastor Mark has been in the ministry for over 20 years and has experienced firsthand how our Heavenly Father supports us, His children. Pastor Mark has three sons of his own that have all stepped out in youth ministry, student teaching. It was hard to try to pick one son to support, but Pastor Mark was able to see how our Heavenly Father doesn’t want to choose only one child to help; He is there for every one of His children. When we come together in unity, supporting one another in Christ’s love, we act as the body of Christ. Today, many churches are concerned with numbers, finance, and attendance and begin to compete with who has the better church. That is not the primary goal. We are all in this Kingdom race together, reaching out and sharing what Jesus’ sacrifice paid for on the Cross, our eternal salvation. We are Christ’s hands extended. Instead of competing with your fellow neighbor, stand up and support one another in godly love. When we reach out beyond where we are to help those in need, we will see the hand of God moving in our midst. Be blessed and encourage one another in Christ’s love today. We want you to know that God has something for you today. Sometimes we get stuck and consumed in the tiny world we live in, and it can be hard to see past our circumstances. It’s when we can step out of our comfort zone and bless someone else’s life beyond our reach that we not only make a difference in their world; it affects ours as well. Today, we want to be your faith partner. Someone who stands beside you encourages you and helps you take the next step of faith in your walk with God. God wants to reach into your world and provide everything that you need. It just takes a willing heart and a courageous step of faith! He is a lamp unto your feet today. Reach out.
The Orphans Hands is our ministry of homes in Eastern Europe, Moldova, with a home in Ukraine. Moldova is one of the poorest countries in the world. Many people die from drug and alcohol abuse. Children are often kicked out into the streets, leaving them at the risk of human trafficking. For over 30 years, we’ve helped reach these lost and broken children for Jesus Christ. Our kids now minister by giving back to those who hurt them, being God’s hands extended. It’s a beautiful picture of unity in the body of Christ.
